Terms of use

Last updated: October 16, 2026

These terms are in plain English. They are not legal advice. Have your own counsel read them before you rely on them for a purchase.

The service

AbleCivic helps local governments and special districts with website accessibility and meeting PDFs. That includes towns, cities, counties, and districts of any size. The monthly service is a weekly website check, repairs to agendas and minutes (text, tags, and titles) with a person reviewing the work, and a one-page monthly report for the board.

Price

The founding price is locked in if you sign up before January 1, 2027. After that, the struck-through price applies. Cancel anytime. Small towns and districts (Under 50,000 people, plus all special districts): $39.99/month ($479.88/year) before January 1, 2027, then $49.99/month ($599.88/year). Larger towns, cities, and counties (50,000 or more people): $49.99/month ($599.88/year) before January 1, 2027, then $59.99/month ($719.88/year). W-9, quotes, and purchase orders are welcome. We do not start paid work until you and AbleCivic agree in writing. An email is enough.

No promise of a legal result

We do not promise that a website or PDF meets the ADA, WCAG, or any other rule. We do not certify a legal result. The Title II rule is the government's rule. Your counsel is the right source for what it requires of you. We help with the practical work.

The free report

The form on the home page asks for a free snapshot. We aim to send it within 2 business days. Requesting a report does not sign you up for the monthly service.

Your part

Send sites and files you are allowed to share. Public agendas and minutes are the usual case. Do not send confidential personnel, medical, or student records through the form.

Canceling

Email george@ablecivic.com to cancel. We will confirm by email. A month you have already paid is not billed again.

If we make a mistake

If a file we edited has an error, tell us and we will correct that file. To the extent the law allows, AbleCivic is not liable for a board's decisions, for a missed deadline, or for losses that follow from using a report.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top will change. Paid work follows the note we agreed with you, not a later change you have not seen.
