Accessibility statement

Last reviewed: October 16, 2026

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA on this website. This statement is not legal advice, and it is not a promise that every visitor will have a barrier-free visit.

Scope

This statement covers the public pages on ablecivic.com: the home page, this statement, the privacy policy, and the terms of use. It does not cover a district's own website. That work is the service we offer, and it is separate from this page.

How we test

  • Automated checks with axe-core, using the tags wcag2a, wcag2aa, wcag21aa, and wcag22aa. The build fails if a check reports a violation.
  • Keyboard-only use of the skip link, navigation, report form, and these pages.
  • Screen reader checks with NVDA on Windows and VoiceOver on macOS before we call a release ready.

Known issues

None known from the automated checks and the keyboard pass as of the last review. A full NVDA and VoiceOver pass is still to be completed before launch. If that pass finds a barrier, we will list it here.

We do not use an overlay widget on this site.

Feedback

Email george@ablecivic.com. We aim to reply within 2 business days. If you can, tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and your browser or assistive technology.

The same contact sits in the footer of every page.
