What the form collects, and why
When you request a free report, we collect:
- Name
- Organization
- Role, if you give one
- Email address
- Website URL
- Message, if you write one
- Your consent to be emailed the report
- utm_source and utm_campaign, if the link you followed included them
We use this to prepare your report and to reply to you. We do not sell personal information.
When email delivery is turned on, we send the request to our team and a short confirmation to you through Resend. The confirmation says your report will arrive within 2 business days.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics. It is cookieless. It does not set advertising cookies and it does not build a marketing profile of you. We count page views and a few events, such as a form submission, so we can see that the site is working.
How long we keep it
We keep form submissions for 24 months, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first.
Who else handles it
Vercel hosts the site. Resend sends the email when that is turned on. If a database is connected, Supabase stores the same form fields. Those companies process the information only to provide that service. We do not share it for advertising.
Your choices
Email george@ablecivic.com to ask for a copy of what we hold, or to ask us to delete it. We aim to reply within 2 business days.
Children
This site is for local government staff. It is not directed at children.
